Welcome to Sports Autos TTM!  My name is Chad and this site is devoted to listing my daily successes and failures from the awesome hobby of collecting autographs through the mail.  I primarily write to current and retired athletes from the sports of baseball, football, and basketball.  I use Harvey Mieselman's Ultimate Address List for all my requests c/o Home, and I do not sell any of my autographs.  If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at Chad@sportsautosttm.com .

Brett Hull  (Hall of Fame hockey player signed a 1991-92 O Pee Chee, 2000-01 Upper Deck MVP, and a 2002-03 Topps Total in 20 days c/o Home)

Anthony Acevedo  (Former Astros prospect signed a 2004 Topps Total in 96 days c/o Home.  This brings me to needing one card to complete the "first year" players section of the 04 Topps Total set.  If anyone has an address or signed Topps Total of former Rangers prospect, Brock Jacobson, PLEASE let me know....thanks)

 

Update:  I received a very nice autograph gift from my pal in Kansas, Mark M.  He attended the Royals fan fest and was gracious enough to send me autographs of Steve Balboni, John Wathan, Darryl Motley, Mike Boddicker, Mike Macfarlane, and Steve Farr.  I am absolutely thrilled to receive these signatures and definitely appreciate the gesture, thanks alot Mark!

Update:  Despite the fact that I have pnuemonia right now, I was able to venture out and do some in-person graphing last night.  I went to the Texas Rangers Winter Caravan stop in Longview, TX and came away with signed cards and 8x10's of Tom Grieve, Mark McLemore, and Doug Mathis.  In today's mail I received my half of a Trevor Hoffman 50/50 with Mitch.  He returned a nicely signed 8x10 of Hoffman commemorating him breaking the saves record.

Jerry Goff  (Catcher who played for the Expos, Pirates, and Tigers.  Signed a 1990 Bowman, 1991 Score, and 1991 Donruss in 418 days c/o Home)

Jack Baldschun  (Relief pitcher for the Phillies, Reds, and Padres.  He finished 9 year career with 48 wins, 60 saves, and a 3.69 ERA.  Signed a 1962 Topps, 1966 Topps, and 1970 Topps in 23 days c/o Home, he also added a personalized Phillies photo)

Drew Stubbs  (Always good to hear from Drew, and I'm looking forward to seeing the former Atlanta Rabbits standout have an awesome year for the Reds.  Signed and personalized a Texas Longhorns 8x10 in 8 days c/o Home)

Johnny Edwards  (Catcher who played 14 seasons between the Reds, Cardinals, and Astros.  He was a 3 time All-Star and 2 time Gold Glove winner.  Signed a 1969, '70, '71, '72, and '73 Topps in 10 days c/o Home, also added 3 of his own personalized photos)

Fred Jackson  (Running back signed a 2009 Score in 122 days c/o Buffalo Bills)

Billy Kilmer  (Former quarterback who played for the 49ers, Saints, and Redskins.  He was a two time All-Pro, was selected to a Pro Bowl, and was voted as one of the 50 Greatest Redskins.  Signed and personalized a 1972, '74, '75, '76, '77, and '78 Topps in 20 days c/o Home, he added three of those cards on his own so I definitely appreciate the gesture)

Update:  Just wanted to show off the latest autographed card I received for my 2004 Topps Total set.  Through a private signing with Larry Kassis of SCN and Sportsgraphing.com, I was able to add former Phillies and new Astros pitcher, Brett Myers.  Brett is well known for being extremely tough to get in-person, and virtually impossible to obtain through the mail, so I was glad to add him to my collection.  Larry has an upcoming signing with Carl Crawford that I will be posting information about soon.

Bruce Reimers  (Offensive lineman who played 10 seasons in the NFL for the Bengals and Buccaneers.  Signed a 1991 Fleer in 90 days c/o Home)

Jim Davenport  (Infielder who played his entire career with the San Francisco Giants (1958-70).  He was an All-Star and Gold Glove winner at 3rd base in 1962.  Signed a 1962 Topps, 1966 Topps, 1970 Topps, and 1985 Topps Traded in 12 days c/o Home)

John Schmitt  (Former center who played for the Jets and Packers.  Signed and personalized a 1973 Topps, 1974 Topps, and 1975 Topps in 12 days c/o Home)

Clarence Ellis  (Atlanta Falcons safety who was a first round draft pick out of Notre Dame where he was named an All-American.  Signed and personalized a 1973 Topps and 1975 Topps in 12 days c/o Home)

Bob Babich  (All-American linebacker out of Miami of Ohio and member of the College Football Hall of Fame.  He went on to play nine seasons in the NFL for the Chargers and Browns.  Signed and personalized a 1972 Topps, 1974 Topps, 1975 Topps and 1976 Topps in 12 days c/o Home)

Pat Jarvis  (Pitcher who won 85 games and had a 3.58 ERA over 8 seasons for the Braves and Expos.  Signed a 1969 Topps, 1970 Topps, and 1973 Topps in 9 days c/o Home)

Stan Williams  (Pitcher who won 109 games over his 14 year career.  He was a one time All-Star and won a World Series title with the Dodgers in 1959.  Signed and personalized a 1961 Topps, 1970 Topps, and 1972 Topps in 8 days c/o Home)

Cisco Carlos  (Pitched for the White Sox and Senators over his 4 year career.  Signed a 1969 Topps and 1970 Topps in 8 days c/o Home)

Abe Woodson  (Cornerback and kick returner who played for the 49ers and Cardinals, he was alos a 5 time Pro Bowl selection.  Signed and personalized a 1959 Topps and 1963 Topps in 8 days c/o Home)

Larry Schreiber  (Played running back for 6 seasons for the 49ers and Bears.  Signed a 1975 Topps in 8 days c/o Home)

Roy Sievers  (Four time All-Star and the 1949 AL Rookie of the Year.  Signed a 1959 Topps, 1960 Topps, and 1962 Topps in 7 days c/o Home)

Bill McCool  (Pitched for the Reds, Padres, and Cardinals and was named an All-Star in 1966.  Signed a 1969 Topps and 1970 Topps in 7 days c/o Home)

Casey Candaele  (Utility player who was with the Expos, Astros, and Indians.  Signed a 1988 Score, 1991 Topps, '91 Leaf, and '91 Upper Deck in 715 days c/o Home)

Joe Gibbon  (Over 13 seasons, he won 61 games and had a 3.52 ERA.  He was also a member of the 1960 World Series championship Pirates team.  Signed a 1968 Topp and 1970 Topps in 6 days c/o Home)

Cal McLish  (Pitcher who won 92 games over his 15 year career.  He was a one time All-Star and once set a major league record by winning 16 consecutive road games.  Signed and personalized a 1961 Topps and 1962 Topps in 6 days c/o Home)

Ted Bowsfield  (Pitched in the big leagues for 7 seasons and saw action as a starter and reliever.  Signed and personalized a 1961 Topps in 6 days c/o Home)

Steve Zabel  (Tight end and linebacker who played for the Eagles, Patriots, and Colts.  Signed a 1972 Topps, 1975 Topps, and 1979 Topps in 5 days c/o Home)

John Fitzgerald  (Dallas Cowboys center who played in four Super Bowls for the team.  Signed and personalized a 1977 Topps in 30 days c/o Home)

Reggie Dupard  (Running back who played for the Patriots and Redskins.  Signed a 1989 Pro Set in 487 days c/o Home)

Update:  I closed out 2009 with a 50/50 return from Ben, a member of Sportsgraphing.com.  He was able to get me Kansas City Chiefs running back and former Texas Longhorn, Jamaal Charles, on a Texas 8x10.  I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and I wish you all nothing but the best in 2010.  Thanks for continuing to visit my site!

Felix Millan  (Second baseman who played for the Braves and Mets.  He was a 3 time All-Star and 2 time Gold Glove winner.  Signed a 1975 Topps and 1978 Topps in 26 days c/o Home)

Tony Greene  (Buffalo Bills safety who finished his career with 37 interceptions and one Pro Bowl selection.  Signed and personalized a 1977 Topps in 26 days c/o Home)

Update:  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  In addition to today's through the mail successes, I also received a signed 8x10 from a private signing with arguably the best receiver in NFL history, Jerry Rice.  The signing, photo, and shipping only cost me $36, so I consider that a great deal for such a high profile name.  I enjoy participating in private signings with reputable dealers and will do my best to keep you informed on any upcoming signings that I think offer a good value.

Larry Kinnebrew  (Running back who played 7 seasons in the NFL for Bengals and Bills.  Signed a 1990 Score in 109 days c/o Home, I have a duplicate autograph of this card if someone wants it.  Just shoot me an e-mail and I'll give you my address to send a SASE for it)

Don Maggs  (Offensive tackle who played for the Oilers and Broncos.  Signed a 1991 Fleer in 96 days c/o Home)

Gail Hopkins  (Former catcher and 1st baseman who played for the White Sox, Royals, and Dodgers.  After playing in Japan, he retired and became a doctor.  Signed a 1971 Topps and 1974 Topps in 216 days c/o Home)

Daniel Cortes  (Royals pitching prospect signed and personalized a 2008 Tristar Projections and a 2008 Bowman Prospects card in 543 days c/o Northwest Arkansas Naturals)

Warrick Dunn  (Signed a 2001 Upper Deck Pros & Prospects and a 2005 Topps in 50 days c/o Warrick Dunn Foundation)

Update:   A special thanks goes out to my buddy in Kansas, Mark M., for the autograph gift he sent the other day.  He included a signed and personalized 8x10 of Chuck Dobson, a signed Topps card of Dave Wickersham, and signed index cards of Jay Hankins and Don Buschhorn.  These players were all former members of the Kansas City Athletics.  Speaking of which, Mark is a member of the Kansas City Baseball Historical Society and you can find out more information on them here.  Thanks alot Mark!

Ken "The Snake" Stabler  (Former quarterback who was selected to 4 Pro Bowls, was the 1974 NFL MVP, and was part of the Super Bowl XI championship team.  Signed a 1975 Topps, 1978 Topps, and 1982 Topps in 49 days c/o Home)

Update:  Today I received back a signed 8x10 from a 50/50 with Jeff on Sportsgraphing.com.  He was able to get Kevin Durant on a Texas Longhorns photo for me.  This was an awesome success because I'm a huge Longhorns fan, and Durant is one of the rising stars in the NBA.  Thanks Jeff!

Whitey Ford  (This signed official major league baseball was received in a purchase from Tom Orr on SportsCollectors.Net.  Tom does a great job of organizing private signings with Hall of Famers and hard-to-get signers.  Whitey signed the baseball on the sweetspot and added his HOF inscription)
